Organisation chart

The Court of Audit has about 300 staff who work in five directorates. Audits are carried out by the three audit directorates. These three directorates consist of a series of knowledge circles led by a sector manager. A knowledge circle is made up of auditors who work in the fields of home affairs or justice or specialise in regularity audits and finance. Most of the Court of Audit's auditors work 'on site' at one or more of the ministries. About a third of the staff work in the Court of Audit's head office.

In addition to the audit directorates there are two support directorates responsible for operational management and policy and communications.

The five directors together form the management team. This team is chaired by the secretary-general and is responsible for the quality of the organisation and the audit work.
