Member of EUROSAI Governing Board from 2011-2020; organiser of EUROSAI conference in 2014
The Netherlands Court of Audit has offered to organise the EUROSAI conference in 2014, to mark the 200th anniversary of our foundation. EUROSAI will be taking a decision on this during the forthcoming EUROSAI conference that will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, in June 2011.
This is a triennial conference that attracts delegations from all 50 of Europe’s national audit offices. Working on the assumption that EUROSAI will be amenable to our proposal, we have decided to join EUROSAI’s Governing Board for three terms of office: first as vice-chair from 2011 to 2014, then as chair for the second term from 2014 to 2017 and finally as an ordinary member for the final term. In 2011, we shall be continuing with the preparations for the conference and for our roles as vice chair and chair of the Governing Board.
