Positive opinion on EU member state declaration 2009

The Court of Audit has expressed a positive opinion on the EU member state declaration for 2009, as issued by the Minister of Finance on behalf of the government. The member state declaration provides a good view of the management and expenditure of funds received from the European Union in the Netherlands. The Court of Audit thinks the member state declaration should in future provide more insight into the financial risks to the Netherlands of the investigations currently being carried out by the European Commission.
